JVF was brought on board as an Owner's Representative for pre-construction during the due diligence and the design phase of the renovation project of the Selkirk Inn in Golden BC. Tasked with representing the owner's interests, JVF played a pivotal role in liaising between the client and the design team. Their primary objective was to ensure that the envisioned project aligned closely with the client's objectives, brand preferences, and operational requirements.

Throughout the design phase, JVF leveraged their expertise and industry knowledge to provide valuable insights and guidance. JVF facilitated effective communication between all stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and consultants, and construction manager to foster collaboration and consensus on key design decisions. By meticulously reviewing design plans and specifications.

JVF conducted Request for Proposal (RFP) to select the design team and construction manager to assignee ICM and JVF with the due diligence phase and budgeting of the project.

Moreover, as an Owner's Representative, JVF offered expert advice on construction-related matters, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
