As owners representatives for the Revelstoke Motel project, our role extended beyond overseeing the physical transformation of the old 2-story Motel 8; JVF supervised the vendors for IT, FF&E, furniture install, fixtures, and TV systems for the Revelstoke Motel project.

Throughout the project lifecycle, our team remained vigilant in monitoring the project budget, working closely with stakeholders to track expenditures and identify areas where cost-saving measures could be implemented without compromising quality or timelines. This involved regular budget reviews, forecasting, and financial reporting to keep all parties informed and aligned.

On top of working with the Construction Manager on subcontractor award, JVF conducted a comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) process to procure vendors for IT, FF&E, furniture install, fixtures, and TV systems for the Revelstoke Motel project, as well as the integration of the commercial kitchen equipment, telecommunications and brand signage. This meticulous RFP process involved crafting detailed specifications and requirements tailored to the project's needs, soliciting proposals from qualified vendors, and evaluating responses based on criteria such as cost, quality, timeline adherence, and compatibility with the project's vision.

Furthermore, our team leveraged our expertise in project management to oversee the selection and engagement of consultants and subcontractors, ensuring that they adhered to project timelines, quality standards, and budgetary constraints. We maintained open lines of communication with all stakeholders, facilitating regular meetings, progress updates, and issue resolution to keep the project on track and within scope.
